The Hard Drive – Episode 4

October and Halloween are among my favourite times of the year, so on this episode of The Hard Drive I dive into a world of ghosts and ghouls with a selection of rock and metal tracks themed around one of the year’s best seasons.

Kicking off with a track from AFI’s legendary All Hallows EP, we gradually move into heavier metal with tracks from Slayer and The Black Dahlia Murder. From Devils and Vampires to Werewolves and Ghosts, today’s show has it all.

Check out the Mixcloud stream below, followed by the show’s playlist:

• AFI – Fall Children
• Murderdolls – Dead in Hollywood
• Rob Zombie – Dragula
• KoRn – The Devil Went Down to Georgia
• Ghost – Mary on a Cross
• Norma Jean – Cemetery Like A Stage
• My Chemical Romance – Vampires with Never Hurt You
• Mastodon – Halloween
• Slayer – Angel of Death
• The Dillinger Escape Plan – Sunshine the Werewolf
• The Black Dahlia Murder – A Shrine to Madness
• Mnemic – Ghost

The next episode of The Hard Drive airs on November 11 on Burton Radio.
