I have new music coming out! I finally pulled the trigger and sent my music off for distribution. If you’re a fan of bands like Foals, And So I Watch You From Afar, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Minus the Bear, and other math-rock and post-rock adjacent music, then you might dig Let It Eat You For Fun.
Let It Eat You For Fun is a recording project that I hope encapsulates my love for all things math- and post-rock. While I might not have the skills of Dylan from Tiny Moving Parts, this music features mathy elements with odd time signatures and intertwining guitar melodies that twinkle together with all manner of effects. They’re delayed, pitch-shifted, and drenched in reverb to create a pretty nifty sound, exploding into a chaotic heavy crescendo.
So if you’re a fan of catchy riffs, explosive heavy choruses, weird guitar sounds, or tracks where you really can’t find the 1, then you may be a fan of this, right? Right?!
I Want To Fly The Plane is the title of my debut EP with this project, a three-track EP that pulls inspiration from all of the above. It’s set to drop on May 26 and is available for pre-save on all major DSPs right now or you can pre-order via Bandcamp and grab the first song instantly.
Check the links below to pre-save or pre-order, if you do, I’ll give you a gold star. I promise. Oh and you can also find me on Instagram and Threads if you want to hear snippets of the tracks before they’re out (or future music).
